So, Trump rolls into his Doral golf resort just in time for the PGA Tour’s return after a seven-year hiatus. And guess what? He’s right there in a spectator suite, hanging out with his son, Eric. Shocking, I know.
You’d think the media would focus on the actual golf happening, but instead, it’s all about how this is some sort of scandal. Because, apparently, a former president enjoying his property is a major problem.
Let’s not forget the double standard here. If any other former president did the same thing, it’d probably be a “relatable family moment.” But since it’s Trump, we’re treated to a whole circus of indignation.
And here’s the kicker: this is just another chance for the media to whip up outrage while conveniently ignoring that the guy who actually owns the place is just having a good time.
