### EU Leaders Say “No Thanks” to U.S. Tariff Increases—As If That Matters So, the EU leaders gathered over the weekend and made a big show of declaring they won’t accept any increase in U.S. tariffs after the Supreme Court took a swing at some of Trump’s tariffs. Wow, what a bold stance! They’re all about protecting their precious interests, claiming that EU companies and exporters must be shielded. Because, of course, the world revolves around the EU’s delicate little economy. Who needs a level playing field when you can just whine about it, right? Let’s not forget, this is the same EU that’s been busy playing trade chess while the rest of us are stuck on checkers. They act like they’re coming to the rescue, but it’s hard to take seriously when they’re more focused on posturing than actual solutions. In the end, we’re left wondering: if the EU is so concerned about tariffs, why not actually do something about it instead of just throwing a tantrum? But hey, at least they’re consistent in their ability to complain while doing nothing.
