### Trump Thinks He Can Cut a Deal with Cuba — Here We Go Again

So, President Trump is at it again, talking about how the U.S. might just sit down and negotiate with the Cuban government to wrap up things in Havana. You know, the same Havana that’s been a thorn in our side for decades.

Let’s break this down. The guy loves to negotiate — it’s his thing. But hold on a second; this is the same Cuba that’s been under an oppressive regime forever, where the government treats its people like props in a bad play. What makes anyone think they’re suddenly interested in playing nice?

And here’s the kicker: this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this song. Politicians love to dish out grand plans for Cuba, promising a “new approach” while forgetting that the last few attempts didn’t exactly lead to a Cuban paradise. Remember all those talks that went nowhere?

Of course, the media will swoop in and crank up the outrage dial, but let’s face it — they’ve been pretty quiet about how the same folks who scream for democracy in Cuba don’t seem to have much to say when it’s their buddies in charge. Talk about selective memory.

So, while Trump’s out there dreaming of negotiations, just remember: the regime isn’t exactly known for their willingness to compromise. But hey, maybe this time will be different. Or maybe we’ll just get another round of empty promises and back-and-forth.

Guess we’ll see if this is another bold move or just more political theater. Classic.
