### Peace Talks? More Like Peace Talks-Breaks
So, we’re back at it with another round of U.S.-brokered peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. Because, clearly, the last hundred attempts worked out oh-so-well.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is pointing fingers at Russia, accusing them of breaking a temporary truce. Shocking, right? A ceasefire in a conflict like this gets violated? Who could have seen that coming?
And now we’ve got a reporter from the Kyiv Independent chiming in, probably to give us the same old narrative. You know, the one where we’re supposed to believe that these talks will actually lead to something meaningful, despite the obvious history of failure.
Here’s a thought: maybe instead of constantly pushing for these peace talks that go nowhere, we should start questioning why they keep happening in the first place. What’s really at stake here for the folks behind the scenes?
So, are we really expecting different results from the same tired script? Or is this just another round of diplomatic theater where everyone pretends something is being done?
