### Trump Takes Aim at College Sports: Because Who Doesn’t Love More Rules? So, President Trump just signed an executive order that tightens the screws on college athletics. Apparently, the guy thinks college sports are spiraling out of control in this whole “pay-to-play” mess. His solution? Give the NCAA even more power and limit student athletes to five years of eligibility. Sounds great, right? More rules to fix the rules! This is like putting a Band-Aid on a sinking ship. The NCAA, already known for its questionable decisions and baffling policies, is now going to decide who gets to play and for how long. Because clearly, they’ve been doing such a fantastic job so far. And let’s not forget: this is the same NCAA that’s managed to profit off the backs of student athletes for years while pretending it’s all about “amateurism.” Now it’s all about tighter eligibility caps. Conveniently, the focus seems to be on controlling athletes instead of actually addressing the real issues at play, like ensuring they get a fair shake in this whole system. But hey, who needs to dig deeper when you can just slap a shiny new order on the problem? So, are we really expecting this to fix anything? Or is it just another classic case of making things look busy while ignoring the actual mess?
