### Trump Plays Nice with Colombia After Throwing Shade

So, President Trump just wrapped up a two-hour chat with Colombian President Gustavo Petro, and they both called it “friendly.” Funny how that works, right? Just a few weeks ago, Trump was blasting Petro, claiming he was the reason cocaine was flowing into the U.S. and even hinted at military action. Talk about a swift U-turn.

Now, after all that tough talk, Trump’s trying to downplay his previous criticisms, acting like they were just casual remarks. It’s almost like he forgot that the same media that loved to report on his threats is suddenly mum now that he’s playing nice. This is classic political theater — one minute you’re ready to throw down, the next you’re best buddies.

Curiously, there’s no mention of how he went from “military action” to “let’s have a chat” in record time. Maybe it’s just easier to gloss over the drama when it doesn’t fit the narrative.

In the end, the whole episode is a reminder that in politics, the script can change faster than you can say “negotiation.” But hey, it’s all about keeping up appearances, right? Who knows what tomorrow will bring — maybe they’ll start selling friendship bracelets.
