### Diplomacy with Iran? Here We Go Again.
So, Obama’s back at it, preaching the virtues of diplomacy with Iran like it’s the magic pill for global conflicts. He’s dusting off the 2015 nuclear deal, claiming it proves we can rein in Tehran’s nuclear ambitions without blowing things up. How quaint.
Apparently, the former president believes that negotiating with a regime known for its unpredictability is the best course of action. He touts the deal as a success for reducing enriched uranium—a big win, right? Except that it seems to ignore the fact that Iran’s behavior has hardly improved since then.
Let’s not forget the hefty price tag of these diplomatic efforts: trust, credibility, and a lot of wasted time. Meanwhile, the same folks who advocate for these negotiations conveniently gloss over the outcomes—like Iran’s continued military provocations and their cozying up to other hostile nations.
But hey, who needs to confront the realities on the ground when you can just keep preaching about the power of talking it out? It’s almost impressive how some people can spin a narrative that ignores the obvious pitfalls.
So, here’s a thought: if diplomacy works so well, why do we keep needing more of it? Isn’t it a little odd that we keep revisiting the same failed strategies while expecting different results?
