### Finally, Some Accountability on Epstein? Don’t Hold Your Breath
So, James Comer, the House Oversight Committee Chair, has decided to hold hearings with victims of Jeffrey Epstein. How noble! This announcement comes right after Melania Trump urged Congress to let those victims have a voice. Coincidence? Probably not.
Comer claims he’s always had this in mind. But let’s be real: when politicians say they’re committed to something, it often means they’ll get around to it… eventually.
The victims of Epstein have been waiting long enough for their stories to be heard. Yet here we are, with Congress dragging its feet while the clock ticks on justice. It’s almost as if they’re more interested in the drama than actually doing something meaningful.
Will this lead to real change? Or is it just another political spectacle? One thing’s for sure: the victims deserve better than half-hearted intentions and lip service.
But hey, at least we’re making progress, right? Or maybe we’re just stuck in the same old cycle of inaction and empty promises. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could actually see some accountability for once?
