**Headline: So Much for Stability: Hegseth Kicks Army Chief to the Curb During War** In a head-scratching move, Hegseth has decided to give Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George the boot. The guy’s retiring on the spot, all while the U.S. military is supposedly deep in a month-long conflict with Iran. Because apparently, stability in leadership is overrated when you’re in a war zone. You have to wonder what kind of genius thinks this is a good time to shake things up at the top. It’s almost like they’re playing a game of musical chairs with our military leadership, and the music just happened to stop in the middle of a firefight. Where’s the logic here? You’d think that in the middle of a heated conflict, maintaining experienced leadership would be a priority. But no, let’s just toss out one of the key players and see what happens. Is anyone out there questioning the wisdom of this decision? Or is it just another case of “trust us, we know what we’re doing”? Spoiler alert: the answer is likely the latter. If this isn’t a perfect example of how not to handle military leadership during crisis, I don’t know what is. What’s next? A reality show featuring military leaders?
