Yep, the same folks who claim to be all about accountability are now the ones threatening to derail it. Apparently, they’re not thrilled about the “inexplicable” length of the extension, the so-called “fake warrant requirement,” and what they see as a betrayal—negotiations that promised to block a central bank digital currency but didn’t deliver.
Translation: it’s all a big mess of political gamesmanship. They’re mad because they feel duped, and rather than working on real solutions, they’re ready to take their ball and go home. Talk about a productive use of time.
