### FBI Plays the Waiting Game While Ransom Deadline Passes
So, here we are. The FBI declares it’s “not aware” of any ongoing talks between Nancy Guthrie’s family and the people who allegedly abducted her. Sounds reassuring, right? Except that the ransom deadline has already come and gone.
The FBI claims they’ve been working tirelessly for over a week to bring Guthrie back to her family. That’s nice to hear, but one has to wonder: if you’re putting in all that effort, why are you still stuck at square one with no updates?
It’s almost as if the situation is being handled with the urgency of a slow-moving train wreck. Meanwhile, we’re left to ponder: is this the best they can do, or are there some details conveniently missing from the narrative?
In the end, one can’t help but question if the FBI’s definition of “working around the clock” involves more coffee breaks than actual breakthroughs.
