### California Gubernatorial Candidates: Lots of Noise, Little Substance
As the candidates vying to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom grapple for attention, you’d think they’d have some groundbreaking ideas. Instead, we got a debate that was more about squabbling than actual policy.
Former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra took center stage, catching flak from his opponents. Why? Because he’s apparently gaining ground in the polls. So, naturally, the best strategy is to throw shade instead of presenting a better vision. Classic politics.
The debate turned into a shouting match instead of a discussion on real issues. These folks are supposed to be leaders, yet they can’t seem to articulate much beyond personal jabs. It’s almost like they think voters care more about the drama than the details. Spoiler alert: they don’t.
So, as candidates flail about, where’s the vision for California’s future? Or is the plan just to shout louder than the next guy? It’s a race to the bottom, and unfortunately, the voters are left to sift through the noise. But hey, at least it’s entertaining, right?
What’s really missing here? Oh, just a little thing called substance.
