In a recent interview, a CNN host asked Maher if he ever hears from Trump after their on-air clashes. Spoiler alert: he does. Maher seems almost shocked that a former president would text him post-show. Newsflash: it’s called engagement, Bill.
Instead of celebrating the back-and-forth, Maher seems to be playing the martyr. You know, because nothing screams “I’m tough” quite like complaining about your nemesis texting you. Maybe next time, he can just turn off his phone.
