### Bill Clinton Says What About Trump? Who Cares?
So, Bill Clinton pops up to chat with Congress about Jeffrey Epstein, and guess who’s in the spotlight again? That’s right—Donald Trump. During his testimony, Clinton casually mentions that Trump has never given him any reason to think he was involved with Epstein. Shocking, right?
But hold on—House Oversight Chair James Comer thinks this is worth noting. He tells reporters that Clinton’s remarks are fascinating and leaves it up to the committee whether Trump should be called to testify. Because nothing screams “serious investigation” like a casual game of “let’s see who we can drag into this.”
Now, cue Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the committee, who claims Comer’s description of Clinton’s testimony is all wrong. He can’t share specifics but is more than happy to insist that Republicans are breaking the rules. Meanwhile, he’s also demanding that Trump be subpoenaed. Classic political theater: throw in some accusations and keep fanning the flames.
Then there’s Rep. Maxwell Frost, who’s now questioning Trump’s past relationship with Epstein. Apparently, Trump has said they had a falling out long before Epstein got arrested in 2019, but hey, let’s keep the drama alive. After all, he hasn’t been charged with anything—yet here we are, still wondering if he’s guilty by association.
As for the Clintons, Bill insists he knew Epstein but cut ties long before the whole scandal erupted. Hillary, in her own testimony, claims she never met the guy and knew nothing about his crimes. Just two people who happened to overlap with a notorious figure yet remain entirely innocent. Sounds legit, right?
In the end, we’re left with the same old circus: accusations flying, investigations dragging on, and a whole lot of nothing happening. Isn’t it charming how politics works?
