### Trump Calls for Americans First, Media Goes Crazy During Trump’s State of the Union address, he had the audacity to suggest that Congress focus on American citizens before giving a leg up to illegal immigrants. Shocking, right? You’d think he just set fire to a flag with the way the other side reacted. The moment he uttered those words, the divide between the two parties couldn’t have been clearer. It was like watching a game of tug-of-war, with one side pulling for the average American while the other seemed more interested in keeping the doors wide open for anyone who wants to stroll in. It’s almost as if prioritizing your own citizens is a radical concept these days. Who knew? But let’s take a moment to appreciate the irony here. The party that screams about inclusivity and compassion suddenly gets a case of the vapors when someone dares to suggest that maybe, just maybe, American citizens should come first. So, here’s a thought: if the goal is to help everyone, why does it always seem to boil down to prioritizing those who haven’t even followed the rules? Just asking for a friend.
