**Headline: Congress’s Approval Rating Hits Rock Bottom—And Guess Who They Blame?** Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio is pointing fingers at Democrats for Congress’s approval rating plummeting to a staggering 10 percent, courtesy of a new Gallup poll. On Fox Business’s “Varney & Co.,” he didn’t hold back, claiming that the minority party is responsible for the record-long government shutdown we all know and love from last fall. Let’s unpack that. A government shutdown is a classic political circus, and blaming it solely on the Democrats is like refusing to acknowledge that the elephant in the room is actually the entire Congress. Sure, they can squabble and play the blame game, but at the end of the day, it’s the same group of people who are supposed to keep the wheels turning. Jordan’s comments are the perfect example of how politicians dodge responsibility while the public gets stuck holding the bag. The reality is that it takes two to tango, but here we are, listening to one side act like they’re the only ones on the dance floor. So, here’s a thought: maybe instead of pointing fingers, Congress should focus on doing their jobs. But that might be too much to ask when it’s easier to just blame the other party, right? Who needs accountability when you can have a good ol’ fashioned blame game instead?
