### Here We Go Again: White House Ballroom Drama Continues
So, the White House ballroom saga just won’t quit. A U.S. Court of Appeals decided to let the construction roll on—at least for now—after a judge previously put the brakes on it. Because, you know, why not keep the American public entertained with government construction drama?
A panel of three judges from the D.C. Circuit voted 2-1 to lift that pesky injunction until April 17. So, the ballroom construction crew can get back to work while the legal back-and-forth plays out. Meanwhile, the rest of us can only watch as they fuss over a fancy room for parties while real issues go ignored.
Isn’t it just charming how priorities get set in this country? Who needs affordable housing or infrastructure upgrades when you can have an elegant ballroom? And let’s not forget the irony of a government that spends months haggling over a dance floor while simultaneously telling us it’s too broke to help the average American.
But hey, at least we can look forward to some swanky events—if we’re ever invited. In the meantime, one has to wonder: how many more courtroom decisions will we see before this ballroom is ready for a grand opening?
