### Here We Go Again: NASA’s Big Splashdown
So, the Artemis II astronauts are gearing up to make their grand entrance back to Earth this Friday. Former NASA astronaut Ron Garan is dropping by “The Daily Report” to chat about this “big test” for future moon missions.
Isn’t it cute how we celebrate splashdowns like they’re a groundbreaking achievement? I mean, we’ve been sending people up and bringing them back since, what, the 1960s? Yet here we are, acting like it’s some sort of high-stakes game show.
Garan’s probably going to talk about how this mission is critical for getting us back to the moon and beyond. But let’s be real: the moon is just a glorified rock, and the only reason we’re so focused on it now is because we ran out of exciting things to say about Mars.
