### “Democrats Whine About Transparency While Playing Their Own Games”
So, Democratic lawmakers are throwing a fit over the closed-door testimony of Hillary Clinton regarding Jeffrey Epstein, demanding that the Republican majority release the full transcript within 24 hours. Apparently, they think this will magically solve their transparency issues.
Rep. Robert Garcia, the leading Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, made this grand demand while standing outside a performing arts center in Chappaqua where Clinton was busy testifying for hours. Because nothing screams “serious investigation” quite like a press conference outside a venue like that, right?
To add a dash of comedy to the situation, some of his colleagues joined him, but let’s be honest, they weren’t exactly bringing the heat. They’re all singling out the Republicans for their “limited transparency,” as if they’re not also playing the same game. Garcia did mention that Hillary was being cooperative, not pleading the Fifth, and yet somehow, they feel like they’ve learned nothing new. Shocking!
But here’s the kicker: the Republicans have already indicated they’ll release a video of the testimony once it’s approved. So, the real urgency behind the Democrats’ request seems more about optics than actual oversight. They’re more interested in appearing righteous than in any real inquiry into Epstein’s notorious circle.
Meanwhile, Clinton continues to deny any association with Epstein’s criminal activities, claiming she doesn’t even remember meeting the guy. And yet, this whole charade unfolds like a poorly scripted drama, with the Democrats complaining about the process while conveniently ignoring their own role in it.
In the end, it looks like we’re in for a lot of posturing and very little accountability. Are we really surprised?
