### Lawsuit Over a Flag? Seriously? So, a bunch of nonprofit groups decided to sue the National Park Service, the Department of the Interior, and their Secretary Doug Burgum over the Pride flag being taken down at the Stonewall National Monument. Yes, that’s right—this is where we are now. The flag, which was hoisted in celebration, mysteriously vanished for a couple of days before reappearing. Now, the plaintiffs, including the Gilbert Baker Foundation, are all riled up about it, claiming the removal was a direct affront to LGBTQ+ rights. Because, of course, the National Park Service has nothing better to do than wage a secret war on flags, right? Let’s get this straight: the flag went down, and then it went back up. The world kept spinning. But sure, let’s throw a lawsuit into the mix. It’s not like there are any real problems to tackle, right? I mean, why bother focusing on issues like climate change, infrastructure, or education when you can spend time and resources over a piece of fabric? In a world where priorities are often misplaced, this whole saga just feels like another day in the life of overzealous activism. What’s next, suing because someone forgot to put the flag back up on time?
