### Whistleblower Gets a Lesson in Censorship from Gabbard’s Office So, Tulsi Gabbard’s office decided to throw a little shade at a whistleblower’s attorney, warning him not to spill any classified tea to Congress. Apparently, the National Intelligence Director thinks keeping secrets is a priority, even when it involves complaints about how she’s handling classified info. Gabbard’s legal team shot off a letter to Andrew Bakaj, the attorney for the anonymous whistleblower. They didn’t appreciate his earlier warning that if Gabbard didn’t play nice, there might be some consequences. The letter from Bakaj, dated February 3, essentially said, “Hey, if you don’t fix this, we might have to go public.” And here we are, watching a game of bureaucratic chicken where one side is trying to protect its secrets while the other just wants to do the right thing. Sounds like a classic case of “trust us, we know what’s best.” Isn’t it funny how the same folks who preach transparency are the first to pull the curtain when it suits them? Maybe next time, they could try a little honesty instead of playing hide-and-seek with classified documents. But hey, who are we to suggest that?
