### House Democrats Throw Tantrum Over Bondi’s Subpoena So, here we go again. House Democrats are having a meltdown because Attorney General Pam Bondi isn’t playing ball over a subpoena related to the Epstein case. Apparently, the Oversight Committee Democrats stormed out of a briefing because Bondi and her deputy didn’t immediately pledge their undying loyalty to the subpoena. Shocking, right? Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia of California, who clearly thinks everyone has time for his grievances, accused the Trump administration of trying to pull off some kind of “fake hearing” stunt to dodge actual accountability. Because, of course, it’s not like political theater is the norm in Washington. Garcia’s complaints are rich, especially since both parties can’t seem to agree on how to handle this investigation. Five Republicans even sided with Democrats earlier to get Bondi subpoenaed, but now it’s all partisan drama. Bondi, for her part, is playing it cool. She claimed she’d “follow the law” when asked about cooperating with the subpoena. And she had the gall to say they showed up to answer questions, even if it was at the Democrats’ convenience. But let’s be real—this wasn’t a formal deposition. No oath, no recording. Just a cozy little chat that feels like a convenient way to dodge the real issues. Now, the big question is: if Bondi decides to ignore the subpoena, how are Republicans going to react? They’ve previously threatened contempt against Bill and Hillary Clinton for similar behavior. But when it comes to Bondi, the GOP seems a bit more laid back. Rep. Summer Lee even called out House Oversight Chair James Comer for brushing off her questions about holding Bondi accountable. His response? A dismissive remark that she was just “bitching.” Real classy. Comer later confirmed that he didn’t see the point in Bondi’s sworn testimony, suggesting that it’s all just a Democrat plot to embarrass her. Because let’s face it, nothing says “we care about justice for survivors” like accusing the other side of staging a show. Let’s not forget the bipartisan criticism of Bondi’s handling of the Epstein case. Lawmakers are fuming over the slow release of documents and the sloppy redactions that have raised eyebrows. But Bondi and her team are brushing it aside, insisting they’re following the law. Bottom line? This whole situation is just another episode of political theatrics where both sides are more interested in scoring points than actually getting to the bottom of anything. But hey, at least we get a front-row seat to the circus. Isn’t democracy grand?
