### Maryland Governor Sidesteps Trump’s Racism Question—Shocking, Right? So, Maryland’s Governor Wes Moore was asked if he thinks Trump is a racist. His response? A noncommittal shrug and a “that’s a question for President Trump.” Well, isn’t that a bold stance? This comes right after a video surfaced on Trump’s Truth Social that shows the Obamas as apes. You’d think that would provoke a strong reaction, considering the bipartisan outrage it stirred up. But nope, Governor Moore decided to take the safe route and pass the buck back to Trump. Classic political move: avoid the hot potato and let someone else deal with the heat. It’s almost like politicians are afraid to call out racism outright when it involves a former president. What’s the incentive here? Maybe they don’t want to alienate Trump supporters or they just prefer to skate around tough questions. Either way, it’s a reminder that when it comes to accountability, some folks just don’t want to commit. So, are we really surprised by the lack of a direct answer? Or is this just another day in the world of political dodgeball?
